Our Metal Shim is designed to aid in cutting intricate dies in most die-cutting machines.
Sandwich the metal plate adaptor between the base and a cut plate, it provides even pressure over the entire design, resulting in a crisp cut without the need for paper shims.
Do not place it directly under the paper and die, otherwise your metal plate adaptor will get "embossed" with the die image. But if that happens, don't worry! It won't affect the performance of the metal plate adaptor!
Works with many different die cutting systems. Please measure your die cutting plates to make sure this adaptor is the right one for it.
Please note, the Metal Shim may take on marks or become dented with use, but this should not affect the use of the product.
